Our founder is a CBCC-KA (Certified Behavior consultant-canine) certified by the CCPDT, as well as a IAABC member. Dogs are family to us.

Lynda Mortensen, the owner of Bay Area Pet Pals, has been a small business owner for over 26 years. Her love of animals has remained with her throughout her childhood and prompted her to learn various pet care techniques and how to administer pet first aid. Lynda has opened her heart to adopt many pets over the years and she loves helping other pet owners care for their own pets. She trains each Pet Pal employee to follow specific guidelines. You will never have to worry about re-schedules due to sickness or vacations – there is always an equally trained Pet Pal available to ensure that every appointment and pet visit is covered. My name is Alisha Ardiana. I am a positive reinforcement dog trainer who teaches guardians how to support and care for their dog’s unique needs. My specialty is sensitive, reactive, & adolescent dogs. I offer private training and adventure hikes. I can help you expands your social village with client meet ups. I even will take you & your pup to my local bar to practice being in public.

Ren is a professional dog trainer and behavior consultant, specializing in dog reactivity, fearful dogs, puppies, and separation anxiety. She is a Certified Behavior Consultant Canine Knowledge Assessed (CBCC-KA), a Certified Fear Free Professional., and a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). We have fostered over 150 dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds, offering behavior modification for rescue dogs that need help in order to become adoptable. Lifelong dog lovers, we've been boarding dogs in our home since 2004. References available upon request.

A graduate of the Dog Training Internship Academy - a comprehensive program that provided me with a thorough understanding of animal behavior & learning and focused on the use of science-based training techniques to change both a dog's behavior and a dog's underlying emotional state that may be driving undesirable behavior. I'm also certified by The Certification Council of Pet Dog Trainers. This requires that I have a minimum of 300 hours of experience; references from a veterinarian, client, and colleague(s); and have passed a comprehensive examination testing my knowledge of learning theory, canine ethology, animal husbandry, classroom management, and teaching techniques.

Bay Area Doggie Adventures is a premium off-leash beach hike program for well-rounded dogs established in 1991 and under new management as of 2021. Pack leader Danny treats his pack members as his family and ensures the utmost safety, fun and socialization for your fur baby. Hikes take place along the San Francisco Coastline, all walkers are properly permitted, bonded and insured.
