Greetings, I am Miri, your R+ Dog trainer. I specialize in positive reinforcement techniques, prioritizing a gentle and effective approach to training and behavior modification. My goal is to help you build a strong connection with your canine companion while addressing any training challenges or behavior issues. Let's work together to create a harmonious and happy partnership between you and your furry friend.

We are a fear-free certified practice. We offer fear-free grooming, puppy grooming training, and behavior consulting including behavioral modification for scared dogs. Our founder is a CBCC-KA (Certified Behavior consultant-canine) certified by the CCPDT, as well as a IAABC member. Dogs are family to us.

We aim to empower individuals to understand, train, and care for their dogs in a compassionate and cooperative manner. We believe that educating our clients is as much a part of training as working with their dogs. We are committed to pursuing ongoing education to ensure we are using the most humane, effective techniques.

At The Cooperative Canine LLC, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of dogs and the people who love them through reward-based training and behavior modification techniques that are rooted in science and delivered with kindness. We set you and your best friend up for success by offering individualized training plans that address everything from basic manners and foundational skills, to complex behavior challenges including aggression, reactivity, and fear-based behaviors. With multiple behavior and training certifications, including a KPA-CTP & Master's in Animal Shelter Management, and over a decade of experience, owner & operator Kiyoka (“Kiyo”) Tamesue is not just any dog trainer.

Doggie walks/playtime are an hour long. He or she will be picked up at their home, safely driven in a ACC inspected automobile to play area or dog park and get to run, play ball and frolic with their new friends. All of this usually takes 2-3 hours or so. Family member is returned home safe, sound and happily exhausted with tails wagging.

We may get nostalgic for the ‘old days’, but when it comes to dog training we’re sure glad that some things have changed. Our understanding of animal behavior has grown a lot over the years, transforming the way we think about dog training. Kayla Block, MA, CTC, founded Understanding Dog Training to help people and dogs understand each other better. Kayla is a graduate of the prestigious 2-year program at The Academy for Dog Trainers. Her business is focused on fear and aggression and she has a special heart for fearful dogs and leash reactivity.
