Hi! I’ve been working in the petcare industry since 2017 and started Furry Best Friend SF in January of 2024. I reside in the Richmond district and service all over San Francisco for dog walks, pet drop ins, and pet sitting. I do offer pet sitting in north and east Bay for extended prices. Weekends Only. I can help with one-on-one Dog Walks in San Francisco and Pet Sitting in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am also happy to work as a dog handler/au pair at a special event. Dog Grrl was started in 1997 by owner and operator Jenny Test. Dog Grrl thrived and grew into a doggie daycare space in San Francisco that offered small dog daycare, puppy socials with classes with Smarty Pup and a BnB style boarding facility in Healdsburg California. As the business grew so did the desire to help dogs overcome their fears and anxieties so Jenny went to the Academy for Dog Trainers offered at the SPCA and taught by Jean Donaldson. I have had dogs all my life the 22 years I grew up in The Netherlands. When I moved to San Francisco I felt that this was my calling; working as a professional with and for dogs! I have a psychology degree from The Netherlands, and finished the dog walking course before starting my own business. After that I wanted to learn more about dog psychology and training, so I took an intense course at a training academy. Every day I love my job more. The dogs are so happy and their gratitude makes every day a great day. My main goal is having as much fun with my pack as we can so that they can return home well satisfied from great exercise!

Once Upon a Dog Walk is a professional dog walking service for busy, urban, dog owners. Group walks last for a minimum of 90 minutes on the ground. Depending on the order of pickup and location, your pup will be out of the house between 2 - 4hrs. We are licensed and insured in the city of San Francisco and look forward to taking your pup on romps on our coastal trails and beaches!
